Description

The footbridge consists of two sections. The first one is a steel-concrete composite structure with a depth of 1.25 m and a total width of 11 m. A steel box girder is laterally extended with a series of steel struts and with a steel fairing giving the cross-section its trapezoidal shape. The footbridge is finished with a series of wing-shaped steel ribs which are set on both of its sides.

The second section connects the first one to the base of the Water Tower and is made out of reinforced concrete. This section is equipped with 5 mechanical stairs which to provide access to and from the Water Tower.
