This series of bridges for high speed railway lines is characterized by the system used to connect the prefabricated U-beams which form the bridge deck.
This connection ensures a better response of the bridge with respect to the heavy train loads. The statically determined system of the prefabricated U-beams is only supporting their self-weight. The continuity system connects these beams so to configure a continuous deck which bears the remaining permanent and live loads.
